Smyril Line is know as the reliable connection in the North Atlantic
Smyril Line was established in 1982 and is today a well-reputed shipping company linking the North Atlantic and continental Europe. Smyril Line’s Headquarter is in Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands and we have offices in Iceland, Germany, Holland and Denmark.
Smyril Line has four vessels in the fleet. They are: Norröna, Mykines, Lista and Glyvursnes.
Smyril Line’s primary workarea is travel and freight transport in the North Atlantic.
Addressing Our Environmental Footprint
Our business has a substantial environmental footprint. We want that to change. We are working to reduce it through incremental changes to daily operations as well as longer term initiatives that reduce emissions, through local projects and group-wide action.
