Bij Smyril Line behandelen we dagelijks een diversiteit aan zowel import- als exportzendingen van/naar de Faroer Eilanden en IJsland. Het betreft oa. LTL en/of FTL zendingen, voertuigen, machines en/of projectladingen. Dat alles doen we merendeel met inzet van eigen assets , en gebruikmakend van betrouwbare partners. Onze kracht is onze klanten een veilige en uitzonderlijke transportservice te bieden.
Wat doe je?
- Mix van Cargadoors , Freight Forwarding en Customer service werkzaamheden
- Behandelen van import- en exportzendingen voor internationale key-accounts
- In nauw contact / aansturen van expediteurs, (weg)transporteurs, terminals en warehouses
- Verantwoordelijk voor up-to-date dossiers, documentatie en informatie naar klanten
Wat kan je?
- MBO+ werk- en denkniveau
- Bij voorkeur ervaring als Expediteur Zeevracht of Wegtransport
- Goed Nederlands en Engels kunnen spreken en schrijven, Duits is een +
- Pro-actief, representatief en communicatief vaardig

Freight Forwarder Export/Import

At Smyril Line, we handle a wide variety of both import and export shipments to and from the Faroe Islands and Iceland on a daily basis. These include, among others, LTL and/or FTL shipments, vehicles, machinery, and project cargo. We carry out the majority of our operations using our own assets, complemented by reliable partners. Our strength lies in providing our customers with a safe and exceptional transport service.
About the job
- A mix of ship agency (cargadoor), freight forwarding, and customer service activities
- Handling import and export shipments for international key accounts
- Close coordination with and management of freight forwarders, (road) transport companies, terminals, and warehouses
- Responsible for up-to-date files, documentation, and providing accurate information to customers
About you
- MBO+ level of work and thinking
- Preferably experience as a freight forwarder in sea freight or road transport
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written; German is a plus
- Proactive, professional, and strong communication skills
