Smyril Line’s fleet consist of four vessels, with weekly sailings between Iceland, Faroe Islands, Denmark, St. Petersburg and the Netherlands.
The modern RO/RO ferry "M/F NORRÖNA" is our flagship, and has a capacity of 130 trailer units and runs between the harbours of Seydisfjordur (IS), Tórshavn (FO) and Hirtshals (DK) with a service speed of 21 knots making it the fastest sea freight service in the North Atlantic.
With RO/RO service, we are able to offer safe and exceptional transport service especially for vehicles, machines and other out of gauge cargo, with very late closing time for delivery.
Furthermore, we have great experience in transport solution for refrigerated goods, like fresh and frozen fish, vegetables and other temperature sensitive goods.
